30 Days to A Habit You Can Be Proud Of

30 days to a great habitWe are starting a new month and I have been doing a lot of soul searching and working on things in my life. What does that have to do with organizing you say? A lot! It’s never really about clutter when your house is disorganized. Until you change habits within yourself your efforts to get and stay organized will be in vain.

With that being said, I was perusing TED.com and found a video by Matt Cutts about trying something new for 30 days. I thought what a great way to build a habit. I have a few habits I want to build and so I decided to start my own 30 day challenge. For the next 30 days I plan on doing at least 3 things that I want to build healthy habits on. To help me keep track with this I am using a app called Habit Streak. You can read my review here. It’s available for most platforms.

It’s never really about clutter when your house is disorganized. Until you change habits within yourself your efforts to get and stay organized will be in vain.

So what are the habits I want to work on for the next 30 days?

My 3 Habits

  1. Walk everyday for 30 minutes.
  2. Spend one on one time with my oldest daughter everyday.
  3. Meditate at least twice a day. (No woo-woo stuff, just sitting and clearing my busy mind)
