Thinking about the end of the year and what I want to accomplish for the new year, I have decided to write down goals. Now I am not into resolutions because those never last past January. But I am into making goals and planning out my next steps.
Concrete goals are what you need to be successful. So as the year comes to an end I want to take this time to think about what worked this year and what didn’t. I want to think about how I can stretch myself next year to get out of my comfort zone. I want to think about who I can help in the new year to get to where they need to be. This is the time to sit down and map out a plan for our next year. Push yourself to do better, do more, be more!
Start mapping out the first 90 days and what you want to see at the end of that time period. I read an amazing book, [simpleazon-link asin=”1451628226″ locale=”us”]The 7 Minute Solution: Creating a Life with Meaning 7 Minutes at a Time[/simpleazon-link], that helps you to grasp the 90 day planning concept. (affiliate link). I actually use the planner that comes in 90 day increments to help plan my 90 days out.[simpleazon-image align=”center” asin=”0740798235″ locale=”us” height=”160″ src=”http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41PPQQcpUSL._SL160_.jpg” width=”110″] [simpleazon-image align=”center” asin=”1451628226″ locale=”us” height=”160″ src=”http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51JhII2XiPL._SL160_.jpg” width=”107″]
To help you get started I’m going to list just a few of the things I want to accomplish in the next 90 days.
- I want to make more tutorial videos.
- I want to redo my web design business website.
- I want to launch my training website.
These are just a few of the things that I want to accomplish in the next 90 days. I hope you will join me and take time to not only list what you want to get accomplished, but provide action steps and get started. Follow me on Twitter to see how I am coming along and leave your comments and one goal you want to accomplish in the next 90 days in the comments below and let’s keep each other accountable for accomplishing more in 2013.
